Jumping eagerly between disasters.
Choosing poison, over feeling numb.
Because a life without hope is no fun!

It scares me…
The fact that how utterly in love
I was, with you!
How blindly I believed you.
How I would refuse to believe
that you could ever not be in love with me.
The fact that I refused to believe
that you would betray me.
How I kept giving you chances,
because I would refuse to open my eyes
to see the truth behind your lies.

You were yet another guy,
Breaking my heart,
Staining my mind,
Unwinding my life,
Uprooting my dreams.

Yet, here I am…
Not a tear left in these eyes of mine!
No longing for you, anymore.

It scares me how one day
I just picked my dignity up,
and never looked back.

One moment you were
the center of my world,
The other you were
just another stranger,
I used to know.

No, I don’t love you anymore.
I don’t feel anything for you.
And that power of how I love too much,
and yet how I reset my heart,
even though chaos rules my mind…
It scares me and amazes me
all at the same time!

Maybe that’s why I keep loving
as if my heart has never been broken.
I keep trusting as if
I have never been betrayed.
I keep craving happiness as if
I have never been parched.
I keep healing as if
I have never been hurt.

And that my dear,
is why you can never tell me
that I being “too much”,
feeling “too much”
is my greatest flaw.
Because that’s my greatest strength.
And I would never change it for anyone!

My only grievous flaw is
not knowing the right time
to let go!
And for that, I suffer!

Love is never easy,
Unloving is even harder.
I am just another human,
Jumping eagerly between disasters.

You are just another lost boy
with no spine, filled with lies.
Once the supernova of my life
Now, just another dead star.
